For the parts of the day that want warmth rather than volume — walking down the aisle, drinks on the lawn, the first hour of dinner — we play it soft. Sax carries the melody, the rhythm section sits back, and your guests can hear each other talk. Still a live band, not a playlist on a speaker.
Then we let it go. Same three players, considerably louder — pop and dance hits with a live horn on top and the kind of push that gets the reluctant guests out of their chairs. This is the part people bring up at brunch the next morning.

Yes, and it's half of what we do. We mix ourselves from the stage, so we can sit at conversation level while people are arriving and eating, then lift it when the dancing starts. You get one band across the whole day rather than booking something soft and something loud separately.

Yes. Send it to us when you book and we'll have it ready. If it's a song that won't work as a live arrangement with our instrumentation, we'll tell you honestly and suggest options.
We bring our own PA and mics for what we play. If you need microphones for vows, readings, or toasts, tell us early and we'll sort out the details with you and your venue.
A typical reception is a few sets across the evening with short breaks. Tell us your timeline and we'll build a schedule around it, including recorded music through the breaks so the room never goes quiet.
Happily — and we'd rather do it early than late. Our stage plot, space, and power requirements are on the venues and planners page, which you're welcome to forward to your coordinator.
We tell you straight away and we play the date. We'd rather make a call early and bring in a sub we trust than leave you guessing the week of your wedding.
